We are the Formula Student Racing Team of the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf! Our team consists of students who share a passion for motorsport. With this enthusiasm, we develop, design and manufacture electric racing cars.

10 years

We have been part of the UAS Düsseldorf for over 10 years. An idea that was born in 2013 in a first semester project has now become an integral part of our university.

Over 40 members

E-Traxx offers all HSD students the opportunity to become part of Formula Student. Currently, five out of seven faculties are represented in our team and the team has more than 40 members.

12 degree programmes

A total of 12 different UAS Düsseldorf’s degree programmes are represented in our team, as well as four other universities and colleges that do not have their own Formula Student team.

Growing

2023 ging es für unser Team das erste Mal nach der Corona-Pause mit rund 15 Mitgliedern wieder auf Events. Für die Saison 23/24 wurde unser Team auf 40 Mitglieder mehr als verdoppelt, mit steigender Tendenz.

100% electric

Since our foundation in 2013, we have been building fully electric racing cars. This is not only more sustainable, but is now an advantage for us, as combustion engines will no longer be permitted in the FSG from the 2024 season.

Expand competences

Each member can choose their own department (Business, Electrical, Mechanical) regardless of their degree programme and carry out any activity with the necessary training and instruction.
