It remains exciting!
E-Traxx on the hunt for stickers
Yesterday our day started early again: one team member waited in front of the battery tent from 6am to get a slot for another scrutineering session. Unfortunately, we ran out of time, but in the afternoon we got another chance and were able to show that our battery fulfils all the requirements of the Formula Student regulations. We are proud of our battery team, who worked tirelessly in the pit and acquired the knowledge to build the battery in just half a season!
At the same time, we passed the mechanical scrutineering in the second round. After improving a few small things, we were able to solve the problem with the jack and the tools for the car in no time at all and successfully completed the mechanical scrutineering. Unfortunately, there were a few problems with yesterday's electrical scrutineering and we initially failed it. However, our team spent the next few hours working hard to solve the problems. We are hoping for a positive re-scrutineering next time so that we can pick up the sticker for Electrical.
Everything underwater
To further strengthen our team spirit, we brought delicious food and ice cream directly to the pit. This kept everyone in a good mood and full of energy! At the camp, we practised with maximum concentration for the business pitch and the cost report. The FSG Team Welcome was scheduled for yesterday evening, but we were surprised by a thunderstorm and had to save our camp from the masses of water. Fortunately, everyone was able to find a dry place to sleep in the end.
Wish us good luck with the other static events and lots of sunshine for the coming days.
