We are the Formula Student Racing Team of the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf! Our team consists of students who share a passion for motorsport. With this enthusiasm, we develop, design and manufacture electric racing cars.

10 years
We have been part of the UAS Düsseldorf for over 10 years. An idea that was born in 2013 in a first semester project has now become an integral part of our university.
Über 60 Mitglieder
E-Traxx bietet allen Studierenden der HSD die Möglichkeit, Teil der Formula Student zu werden. Zurzeit sind fünf von sieben Fachbereichen in unserem Team vertreten und das Team zählt mehr als 60 Mitglieder.
12 degree programmes
Insgesamt sind in unserem Team 12 verschiedene Studiengänge der HSD sowie fünf weitere Universitäten und Hochschulen vertreten, die kein eigenes Formula Student Team beherbergen.
Growing
In 2023, our team returned to events for the first time after the coronavirus break with around 15 members. For the 23/24 season, our team more than doubled to 40 members, and the trend is rising.
100% electric
Since our foundation in 2013, we have been building fully electric racing cars. This is not only more sustainable, but is now an advantage for us, as combustion engines will no longer be permitted in the FSG from the 2024 season.
Expand competences
Each member can choose their own department (Business, Electrical, Mechanical) regardless of their degree programme and carry out any activity with the necessary training and instruction.
